OFFICE ORDER

SUB: Empanelment of private hospitals under ‘Direct Payment System’.

A copy of the list of hospitals empanelled in Delhi / NCR along with date of expiry of empanelment is attached for information and guidance for all concerned. It is made clear that the FCI patient should not be admitted even in emergencies after expiry of the period of agreement. In case of any violation, FCI shall not in any case be responsible to settle such claims. The updated list of the empanelled hospitals in Delhi/Gurgaon is displayed on the FCI website also.

2. In order to avoid any inconvenience, the employees may be advised not to approach any of the empanelled hospital after its expiry period. The authorized signatories / Medical officers are requested not to refer any patient even in emergencies to such hospitals after expiry of the agreement till their empanelment is further renewed.

3. Simultaneously, it is also the responsibility of the hospital concerned not to admit FCI patients after date of expiry even in emergencies and if admitted, FCI shall not be responsible in any manner and such cases have to be settled by the hospital itself. This position has to be displayed for the benefit of the FCI patients at the reception of the hospital.

4. This may be given a wide publicity.
